an old outfit and favorite scarf

This is what I wore on New Year's Eve. I've been meaning to re-create it and take pictures for the blog, but you know, we've had a "polar vortex" here in Michigan and wearing a skirt out on my balcony wasn't the best idea at the time. I'm glad I waited so long though because I actually just got my hair done and I'm in love with it. I only had the length trimmed, but my friend also dyed it to a deep purpley-red color. I miss having cool colors like this. Next time I want to see if I can pull off an orangey-red. Any thoughts?

Classes started back up this past week and I'm a little nervous for this semester. I have a super early morning class that is just killing me to wake up for, but I just keep telling myself that I least it's only twice a week and won't last forever. My other two classes are on one of the two days that I have off, which kinda sucks cause that means no real weekend and only one day to jam in everything that needs to get done. Although I have some anxieties about it (as usual) I'm still so thrilled to be in school again. I love putting my energy and mind toward my education and this semester is going to be a challenge for me! And boy, do I love a good challenge.
