When Modcloth asked me to help style their Sailboat-Load of Fun Dress, it was pretty much a no-brainer! I had a blast picking out things to go with this adorable dress! As soon as I looked at it, I could just imagine myself going on a beach date with David. With that being said, I would definitely need an adorable swimsuit to wear, and I've been lusting after the Snack Bar Beauty onepiece for a while now! A big sun hat and some adorable cateye glasses are perfect for keeping me shaded throughout the day. Of course, I would need a good (and hilarious) book to read on the beach and what better to carry all my stuff in than this bag? So adorable! Now only if it were summertime weather...

Partnering up with Macy's again here! This time, I found a fabulous pair of shoes. I'm loving booties still and I really like the cut-outs that are becoming popular now because they're still pretty practical to wear in the spring time when it's that in-between weather. I'm actually wearing this outfit tonight because me and our friend are throwing David, her husband, and our other two friend's a March birthday party. They all have their birthdays in the same month, so it was pretty convenient for us, and plus our friends from Chicago are in town (that's a shout out to you, Mark & Amy!) so it was perfect timing as well. I'm really excited for the party tonight, but in the meantime, I'm at work. I wore this outfit into the office as well, but I paired it with a little mustard cardigan to keep it a little more professional.

dressed to the max

This was my first outfit that I chose for the Macy's campaign. I had a blast picking out clothes with my gift card from Macy's mstylelab. I only own one maxi dress (other than this one now!), but the problem was it's definitely a spring/summer dress so I wasn't really able to wear it during the winter. I love the idea of a maxi dress in the winter ever since I heard of the trick to wear leggings underneath them to keep warm. Luckily though, I wore this yesterday and it was actually really nice outside. David, his parents, nieces, and I went out to dinner and then dessert to celebrate his birthday. We had a lot of fun with them and it felt great to be able to wear a dress after such a lonnngggg winter. Which, if you haven't heard by now, came back with a vengence over night. Luckily, I was able to get some what of a dress-fix before the snow stormed its way back into Michigan.
